About Mayra
Experience: 4 yrs
Going on 4 yrs of tutoring experience (in home and at schools), I hold a college degree and focus on building confidence while fostering a love for learning. I think all kids are smart, they just need to find what learning style works best for them! I vary my teaching strategies, like using visual aids and hands-on activities, and encourage open communication to best suit your needs. I can help with Math, English, Test Preparation, Foreign Language, and Special Education. I can tutor elementary and middle school students at your home, a center, the library, etc.
