About Katina

We met Katina twelve years ago when my then two-year-old son was in her preschool class. She began babysitting my son and infant daughter that year, and later had my daughter in her class as well. When the kids were little, Katina watched them on a regular, part-time basis, and has since been their occasional sitter. They are now twelve and fourteen and I still invite her to important events and schedule "Katina time" for them because they miss her (just a couple of days ago she took them to a water park for the day so I could work in peace!) Katina has come to feel like extended family. She also house sits and cares for our pets when we are away. She is thoughtful, knowledgeable, kind, respectful, and grounded in her skill set and firm yet loving approach with the kids. She has a delightful sense of humor and communicates effectively. Katina is a professional, with the education, training and experience to provide excellent care for most any child. I recommend her without reservation.
