About Katie

I'd describe my personality as caring, passionate, and positive. I like working with kids because it's nice to feel as though I am helping to instill curiosity and passion from a young age. Encouraging them to explore the world and understand how they view it. I'm looking for a job that allows me to work primarily in the mornings, I am taking grad school in the afternoons. I started working with kids when I was in high school. I helped as an assistant dance teacher starting at the age of 14, working with the studio owner and teaching classes with students between the ages of 5-12 years old. In my spare time, I like to go on hikes and ski in the winter. I enjoy being outdoors when the weather is nice and taking walks around my neighborhood. I also love to craft and read. One thing you should know about me is I am from the east coast. I grew up north of Boston and just recently moved out to Seattle.
