About Katie

Hi! My name is Katie, and I bring over a decade of experience in childcare, education, and specialized support to every family I work with. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's in Education, and I've worked as a babysitter and nanny for more than 10 years. I also spent four years as an elementary school teacher, giving me a strong foundation in child development and learning. Currently, I serve as the Project Director for the Kansas DeafBlind Project, where I support educators working with students who have both hearing and vision loss. I'm known for my warm, positive personality, and I create a safe, supportive environment where kids feel valued and engaged. Whether it's helping with homework, playing games, or maintaining routines, I bring patience, creativity, and professionalism to every babysitting role.
