Hello! My name is Katie. I'm a 36-year-old living and working in New York City. For the past 2 years, I was working as a SETSS provider where I provided individual support to children with disabilities. While I am teaching part-time right now, I also enjoy other opportunities to work with children. It is most important to me to develop a strong relationship with a child while I support them in their learning. I also have a background in painting and drawing, and I have experience working in music, theater and dance classes. I have found art to be a powerful tool for communicating, confidence-building and relaxation. I bring this creative perspective when working children.
