About Katie

I feel so grateful to have been a part of so many children's lives. While I was in college I did in-home therapy with children with autism. I was essentially a part of their family and assisted with daily living skills, social skills, and academic skills. After obtaining a degree in Psychology and a major in Human Development I did some substitute teaching mostly focusing on pre-school and kindergarten. I worked in a center based therapy program for children, and also supervised teams . When my oldest was 2. 5 I began my journey of childcare. I cared for many children and families, and loved to watch the children and the parents grow. I became a resource for trouble shooting behavioral problems, social interactions, and school readiness. I would love to care for your child in your home, to lighten the load of parenting and to enjoy learning with your little ones!
