About Brooke

I am the second oldest of 8 kids. I nannied a 6-year-old full time for a family friend the summer after I graduated high school. I moved to Utah to attend BYU and I got a part time job nannying a 7-year-old who struggles with some mental health issues such as PTSD, DSED (disinhibited social engagement disorder), anxiety, and DMDD (disruptive mood dysregulation disorder). I then decided to take a break from school and I got another part time nanny job. This job consisted of watching 4 kids ages 6, 4, 2, and 6 months. Between these two jobs I picked up and dropped off kids at school, prepared meals, did household chores and maintained cleanliness of home, engaged the kids in fun and creative activities, changed diapers, got the kids ready for bed or naps, and helped the kids with their responsibilities such as schoolwork or piano practice. I just moved back to Virginia to be closer to my family and I'm looking to find another job caring for kids.
