About Katie

My name is Kate and I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and have received my Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science through the University of Texas at Austin. I specialize in athletic performance enhancement, strength development and assessing and correcting biomechanics. I've had the opportunity to work in a variety of customer service as well as leadership positions. Additionally, I've had the chance to work with seniors. In my senior year at UT, I became a trainer at the YMCA East Communities location where I worked with a variety of individuals from teenagers to seniors with different goals from weight loss and increasing strength to rehab and recovery exercises for a femoral stress fracture to regaining strength after a mastectomy to overall better mobility. Through these experiences, I've found my passion and purpose is to help others.
