About Katherine

I have had four years of healthcare experience as a nursing assistant and pct in the hospital and home care setting and experienced in wound care, patient ambulation, and help with activities of daily living. In the hospital setting I have worked with many senior patients and am very compassionate and caring. I like caring for seniors because I have grandparents that are getting older and I see some of the things they struggle with day to day like ambulation, frustration connected with loss of mobility, reduced experiences in life that sometimes comes with feelings of being disconnected from society or loved ones. I've worked with seniors on my hospital unit as well since 2021 and have helped senior patients transition to hospice and helped those on comfort care. My goal as a care provider is to help with mobility as much as the patient is able, make them feel important, help them with activities they enjoy. In my spare time, I like to hike, learning, reading, and cooking.
