About Katie

Hey there, my name is Katie! I've been working with children for over 8 years now and I take such pride in the work I do. I've worked in child care centers, home-based care and I've nannied so my experience is varied! I graduated from Saint Paul College in 2017 with my associates degree in early childhood development, so I am able to plan developmental activities for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. My approach to childcare is gentle, holistic and child-led. I believe that my job is to be a nurturing, playful guide that balances providing freedom and safe boundaries for your child(ren) while they explore the world and develop their own ideas and opinions. I'm an honest, kind, compassionate and responsible person who knows how to go with the flow while also practicing healthy boundaries! When I'm not working with kids, I'm making art, connecting with nature, spending time with loved ones, reading, and connecting/studying my spiritual practice.
