About Kathryn

Hi! I'm Kathryn, a fifth-grade teacher who has lived and worked in DC for almost 15 years. In my career as an elementary school teacher, I've taught every grade level K-5, and I absolutely love my job. Whether it's working on projects, getting messy outside, or playing games around the house, I'm up for anything your child is interested in. I'm happy to help with homework or tutoring needs. I am first aid and CPR-certified. More about my childcare experience: - I nannied for two yrs for one child (1yo at the beginning of my time with this family), and later for he and his newborn sister (birth - four mos). Duties included playtime, meal prep and feeding, diaper changing, driving in family van to city parks and the zoo, and nap time. Worked 15hrs/week and are still in close touch today. - Also previously nannied for 1 yr for three children (3yo, 5yo, 8yo) three afternoons per week. Duties included school pick up, playtime, homework supervision, dinner prep and mealtime.
