About Katherine

My name is Katherine . I am 22 years old, and a senior at Bridgewater State University majoring in Elementary Education and Spanish. The joy of working with children has led me to my future career as an elementary education teacher. As long as I can remember, I have loved being around little kids. Starting with playing school with my little sister, I have known I wanted to be an elementary school teacher. My babysitting duties for hire started when I was 14, and I quickly progressed from mother's helper to evenings to after-school, and eventually was hired by the same family for summers and vacations. My biggest satisfaction comes from being creative with kids, and engaging them to think outside the box (technology). My strengths include reliability, patience, understanding adolescent behavior, kindness, and a strong work ethic.
