About Katherine

I love people! I love babies, children and the elderly especially. I have been babysitting for 30 years, I taught school (still have my NC teaching license) and have cared for both if my parents as they died. I'd describe my personality as warm, caring, nurturing. I like working with kids because I love watching them grow and learn. I love to make them smile and to be a safe person for them so that both they and their parents can enjoy their time apart. I'm looking for a job that needs help in the mornings. I started working with kids when I was in the 5th grade 30 years ago! I like to read, play word games, enjoy time either my kids and husband. I love to create, organize, and thing think processes to make things work more smoothly. One thing you should know about me is I have 2 elementary aged kids so my availability being in the morning is very important. My skills include communication, intuitive understanding of children and ability to comfort sad babies.
