As busy parents, we can get so caught up in everyday life that we forget that we need to make time for ourselves. Having a weekly date night gives us the time that we need to NOT be mommy and daddy for a few hours. No job stress, no kids banging on the bathroom door, no pets throwing up on the carpet.... just quite time to relax. A little about me: I am a retired business owner I have been married for 46 years We have three children and six grandchildren We also have a four pound Yorkie who thinks he is a German Shepherd. His name is Big Jake. My husband and I enjoy traveling and spending time with our family and friends. I enjoy spending time with children and watching their reaction to new things. I believe that introducing our children to books and reading is one of the best gifts that we can give them. Children thrive with attention, love, and hugs, something that I give to them while they are in my care. So go out for a relaxing and enjoyable evening, without the kids.
