About Katherine

I am currently a senior at American University with years of childcare experience that began long before college! As the eldest daughter to two younger sisters, I naturally took on a caregiving role from an early age through helping care for our sisters and pets. Throughout my time in the DMV, I have continued working with families as a babysitting while also expanding my experience through community-centered roles. I'm really passionate about public health and youth development, which has inspired me to lead monthly children's read along at local library and work as a middle-school tutor! I am known for being empathetic, communicative, and dependable. I truly value working with children because I deeply value supporting their growth, creativity, and confidence!
