About Katey

Hi! I'm Katey! I'm a graduate student studying Athletic Training, and I love working with kids. I'm caring, patient, responsible, and enjoy creating a safe, fun environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. I previously worked as a paraprofessional at a 3rd-5th grade school, working with children with behavioral and special needs. This taught me patience, communication, flexibility, and the importance of understanding each child's needs. I loved building relationships with students and helping them feel supported and successful. My athletic training background has given me experience with healthcare, safety, and first aid. I'm CPR and First Aid trained. I love working with kids because their curiosity, innocence, and ability to find joy in the little things brings a refreshing perspective to life. I genuinely care about the children I work with and want them to feel safe, supported, and happy. I'd love to become someone your family can trust!
