About Kate

Hi! My name is Kate and I'm a recent high school graduate heading to the University of British Columbia this fall to study psychology. This past year, I volunteered at a preschool two days a week, where I gained hands-on experience helping kids with learning, play, and other activities including naps and mealtime. I'm also CPR certified for extra peace of mind. My high school had an arts emphasis, so I have lots of experience with different types of media and love coming up with fun, creative craft projects for kids to enjoy. I also played club volleyball for four years, so I'm active and always up for games and outdoor play. My other big love is animals. I rode horses when I was younger, recently volunteered at Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center, and have a pet bunny named Bucky.
