I received my Bachelors in Psychology from Truman State University in Dec. 2019. I will be starting an advanced nursing program in May 2020, therefore I have taken a variety of nursing courses already. I am CPR/BLS certified. I work part-time at Emergent Learning as a First Steps Provider and ABA Implementer. My nephew has many medical conditions and eats solely through a feeding tube, therefore, I am comfortable working with children with all medical conditions and any age. I have worked at an in-home daycare every summer, and during other school breaks, since 2011. When my boss has been out town for vacations or off-site for medical appointments, I ran the daycare by myself. I was also a camp counselor for children between the ages of 9-14 at a week long, overnight summer camp from 2013-2018. During the summer of 2019, I was an intern at Great Circle, a residential behavioral center. I assisted children diagnosed with autism that had many behavioral issues and were mostly nonverbal.
