About Katelyn

Nurturing children's potential is my greatest passion. I have dedicated myself to providing enriching care for the past year working as a registered behavior technician full time at an autism clinic with children ages 3-12. My approach is patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I have a degree from UNC in psychology with a minor in neuroscience, and I am First Aid and CPR certified. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, educational games, alongside fostering creativity through imaginative play and arts and crafts. I will follow your lead on household rules and preferred communication methods. I can assist with cooking, carpooling, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision. My degree alongside my specific focus in childhood development gives me the tools to create a safe and healthy learning environment for children. I am excited to support your family and create a positive and fun relationship with your child. I hope to bring my passion for childcare into your home.
