About Katie

Hi! My name is Katie, and I am 24 years old. I am taking a gap semester this spring from UNC-CH where I am working on a bachelor's in Human Development and Family Studies and I've been working with children since I was 16. I already have an associate's degree in Human Services and my goal is to become a pediatric occupational therapist one day. I'm currently looking for part-time work in the mornings M-F as my other job starts at 3 p.m. Tu-F. Working with kids is my passion, and I truly enjoy any age and any and all developmental levels! I have experience working with both typically developing children and children with a wide range of dis/abilities, both physical and mental/neurodevelopmental. I love incorporating art into my time with kids, playing outside, listening to music, and whatever else your child loves doing! I love coming alongside families and supporting parents however I can. It takes a village to raise a child, and I would truly love to join your village!
