About Kate

Hi, I am Katie. I am a part time soccer coach with experience teaching kids recreational soccer. My first coaching job was with Lil'Kickers. I worked with kids ages 18 months through 5 years of age. My 18month olds were part of a parent toddler class with ages 18 months through 2 years. My kids ages 3-5 years were independent of parents with parents available if their child needed them to get through the class. While working there I also started coaching with another company. With them I teach their spring & fall 6 week sessions as well as preschool classes & field days. Through them I have completed two mandated reporter trainings & 2 concussion trainings. I recently completed 8 months with The Knight School as a support teacher for their in school chess clubs. My child care experience is limited, I babysat for a 10 year year old for a year and a 5-year-old for 3 months. I would be comfortable assisting new parents or babysitting older kids.
