About Emily

I started working with kids when I was a teenager, completing an intensive, 4 year training program at Cape Cod Sea Camps in Brewster, MA. I taught in private schools and summer for many years, working with children ages 5-18 as a teacher, counselor and sitter. I have two degrees in theatre and enjoy cooking and baking wholesome foods for the families I worked with. I also love reading books, teaching kids to knit and put on shows (as interested). I can also play basketball, tennis/pickle ball, baseball, soccer, throw a football, yoga, stretching, ballet and some light martial arts. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my husband and cats, tell jokes, go out to nice meals, meditate, see and make art and travel. One thing you should know about me is that I'm a former boarding school theatre teacher from the east coast. I'm open hearted and direct, loving and respectful. My skills include playing/make believe with kids, helping with homework and starting new craft projects.
