About Katarina

Every student gets stuck for different reasons. Sometimes it's focus, sometimes the concept just hasn't clicked yet. I start by figuring out which it is and how each student learns best, then get creative to make the material engaging and actually interesting. I'm big on positive reinforcement and on teaching kids how to work through challenges on their own, so they build confidence, a love of learning, and real problem-solving skills that last. I tutor all ages, from early reading and math through high school, and I have a lot of experience helping kids with ADHD thrive.
