About Karen

Making a difference in someone's life is my daily goal as a caregiver. With five years of experience supporting adults and seniors, I've developed a patient, compassionate, and detail-oriented approach to care. My college degree in Recreational Therapy gives me a strong understanding of the importance of helping people be as independent as possible. It also enhances my understanding of well-being, and I am also trained in First Aid. I strive to understand each person's unique preferences and history. I adapt to changing routines, de-escalate stressful situations, and incorporate memory care activities as needed. I can provide transportation, run errands, handle light housekeeping, and prepare meals. I always follow the family's preferred communication method.
