Experience: 5 yrs
Dedicated healthcare professional currently completing my final semester of nursing school, bringing an extensive background in patient care. My experience includes roles as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medication Technician (CMT), and Director of Memory Care, where I developed strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of compassionate, patient centered support. I am committed to delivering care that consistently exceeds expectations. With a calm yet highly energetic personality, I create a reassuring environment while maintaining the attentiveness and efficiency needed in fast paced healthcare settings. My goal is always to enhance quality of life, promote dignity, and provide exceptional care tailored to each individual.
I had the privilege of working with Kristi while she cared for a member of my family, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to any family seeking a knowledgeable, compassionate, and dependable caregiver. Kristi provided comprehensive, hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, including toileting, bathing, dressing, hygiene, mobility, meal assistance, and other personal care needs. She consistently treated our loved one with dignity, patience, kindness, and respect, including during difficult or sensitive situations. She was exceptionally attentive to both medical and behavioral needs. Kristi assisted with blood sugar monitoring and management, carefully observed changes in health, cognition, mood, and behavior, and promptly communicated concerns to our family. She provided calm, compassionate support during periods of confusion and cognitive decline while remaining focused on safety, comfort, and preserving our loved one’s dignity. One of the things I appreciated most about Kristi was her ability to provide consistent, high-quality care regardless of the environment. She cared for my family member at home, in assisted living and skilled nursing settings, during emergency department and hospital visits, and while traveling with our family. In every situation, she remained calm, professional, adaptable, and attentive to both medical and personal care needs. Having someone who could successfully navigate so many different environments while maintaining continuity of care was invaluable to our family and provided a tremendous sense of security during some very challenging times. Kristi’s communication was equally impressive. Our family was spread across multiple locations, including family members who were thousands of miles away, yet she helped everyone remain connected and informed through detailed updates, thoughtful observations, and thorough documentation. Family members consistently expressed deep appreciation for her communication, attention to detail, compassionate support, and extensive medical knowledge. She explained complicated care and medical concerns in an understandable way, which helped reduce anxiety and gave our family greater confidence in the decisions being made. Kristi also maintained detailed care logs, on-call documentation, receipts, and records of significant events. She helped coordinate information among family members, caregivers, facility personnel, emergency staff, and healthcare providers. When something did not seem right, she spoke up, clearly explained what she had observed, and advocated for appropriate attention and follow-up. Throughout her time caring for our loved one, Kristi became far more than a caregiver. She became a trusted advocate, a knowledgeable resource, and an essential part of our family’s support system. Her combination of practical caregiving ability, strong medical knowledge, sound judgment, exceptional observational skills, professionalism, and genuine compassion is rare. I found Kristi to be trustworthy, reliable, organized, attentive, and deeply committed to the well-being of the person in her care. She provided our family with both excellent care and invaluable peace of mind. I recommend her without hesitation to any family looking for a highly capable caregiver who communicates exceptionally well, takes initiative, handles complex needs, and truly cares about the people she serves.
