About Kansas

Hello! My name is Kansas and I am a mother, student, and preschool teacher. I am currently working towards my bachelors in psychology with a minor in child development. I have 6 years of experience in a childcare/elementary school setting. I am registered in the Oregon central background registry and I hold certifications in CPR, first aid, food handling, sleep safety, and I am teacher qualified. My educational philosophy is inspired by the Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and waldorf approaches. I believe that children's learning should be child led and creativity should be nurtured and practiced daily. I prioritize creating a safe, educational, enriching, environment where everyone feels welcome little ones can thrive.
