About Ausia

Hello, My name is Ausia (ah-sha), I am a 38-year-old mother and wife living in Cottage Grove. I enjoy gardening, cooking, playing with my son, and watching my chickens free range! I have more than 8 years of experience as a private nanny and 2 years experience as a teachers assistant. I have worked with many different families as a nanny over the years. I have many child care references, and I am registered with the Certified Background Registry. What I love most about working with young children is the opportunity to be playful, getting to know their unique personalities, as well as the opportunity to provide positive experiences that can benefit the child for years to come. I just completed my Associates of Arts at LCC, with classes in child development, nutrition, anthropology, and human biology. I intend to continue to pursue further education towards a career in child education. I look forward to the opportunity to connect and see if I may be a good fit for your needs!
