About Kalli-anne

I am a qualified, competent, and passionate caregiver with 10 years of professional childcare experience. For the past four years, I have worked as a full-time nanny in DC. Previously, I was an English teacher, daycare worker, and tutor. For me, this work is not temporary or a stepping stone towards something else. Caring for- and educating- children is my utmost calling. I am looking for a position where I am able to work as a partner in raising a happy, curious, and kind child. I see babies and young children as little scientists whose job is to experiment with their surroundings in order to achieve a better understanding of themselves and their world. My job, as their nanny, is to facilitate that exploration, while safeguarding their health & well-being. In my work, I prioritize supporting developmental growth, encouraging confidence & self-sufficiency, preparing babies/toddlers for daycare, and providing opportunities for learning through play, music, literature, & nature.
