About Kalea

Basic Information: - I have a valid drivers license - I am 18 years old (I turn 19 in August) - I have my own transportation I started working with kids when I was 14. My first paid childcare experience was a babysitting job for my neighbors. Since then I have worked many babysitting jobs as well as being a camp counselor at Benner's Farm for 3 years. I have worked with children of all ages and have had children with autism, ODD, OCD, language barriers and speech delays. In my spare time, I like to volunteer, exercise, and do crafts. I have volunteered with animals at multiple animal shelters and have also had many different animals of my own. I am a very hands on and person and enjoy trying new art projects. I also go on frequent walks and love being in nature. My skills include being empathetic, patient, and flexible. When working with kids having these three qualities are extremely important in giving the children the best possible care.
