About Karen

Hi there :) I am born and raised in the California Bay Area. I moved to Long Island many years ago where I raised my family. I am extremely reliable, loving, nurturing, peaceful, easy going and very experienced. I have cared for so many wonderful children over the years. I feel so grateful for that. I became a nanny which I've been doing for 14 years now. I've made some truly incredible connections with the families I cared for. I had a state licensed day care prior to being a nanny, for many years while my own children were growing up. I am a mom to 5 grown children. I am not sure how they grew up so quickly. And now I'm a Nana which is my greatest joy !! I truly feel that I was put on earth to care for children. I still am in touch with so many of the kids I cared for. I even have watched kids of kids that were once in my daycare. It's so wonderful !! I am a nature lover, animal lover and rescuer. I love to hike, yoga and meditation.
