About Jessica

Hi! My name is Jess and I'm 24. I am in the 2nd year of my master's in social work program at Stony Brook, and I graduated from Boston College with a degree in applied psychology & human development in May 2023. I have worked and volunteered with children in different roles for many years. I have experience babysitting for children starting at 1-year-old, as well as babysitting multiples. My other professional experiences with kids include working as a Registered Behavior Technician with special needs children in school, home, and center settings; my first year MSW internship at Long Island Head Start working with preschool children; my second year MSW internship at an elementary school; and volunteering at after school programs with middle and high school students. I consider myself to be patient, reliable, responsible, compassionate, & energetic. I'm also CPR certified and comfortable with pets.
