I worked at a camp, specifically with the older kids, most of whom had disabilities. I also helped other counselors when needed with the younger students, whose special needs ranged from high-functioning autism to a rare genetic disorder. I helped students use the bathroom, change, eat, modify activities, walk, and push a wheelchair to the different areas. Starting in August, I will be a CAT B (multiple disabilities) teacher.
