I was recently thrown into the special needs world when I got a 3 a.m. call for fostering a child with special needs almost 1 year ago. I'm a single mom with 4 kids. The youngest is 6 months old and I will have to bring her with me. I think growing up with a RN and my experience as a certified nursing assistant brings a lot to the table. I have weight lifting restrictions due to a previous back injury that required surgery.
