About Julia

Hello all, I am a lower primary teacher with 18 years of experience. I have had extensive training in early literacy instruction and have served as a reading intervention teacher. Helping children to become skilled readers and writers is one of the highlights of my career. If your child is in TK-2nd grade, I can provide your child with instruction targeting word attack strategies, phonics and reading comprehension, helping him/her to become a stronger reader. I am open to providing online tutoring instruction for students in TK-2nd. However, it would be essential that a parent be present for some of the activities. Many of the literacy activities could be repeated by parents to strengthen/build literacy skills.
