About Iliana

I have 5 years of experience as a Special Education teacher in TK-2, supporting diverse learners through individualized instruction and IEP-based goals. I specialize in early literacy development using Science of Reading-aligned, systematic phonics instruction, with a strong focus on decoding, phonemic awareness, and early reading fluency. I provide structured, engaging, and multi-sensory reading intervention for early learners, including students who need additional support with foundational literacy skills or are learning at different paces. In addition to reading instruction, I support early math development and foundational academic skills. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and can provide instruction or reinforcement in Spanish when helpful for comprehension and early language development.
