About Jules

For the past 10 years, I've been dedicated to helping students unlock their potential. I hold a graduate degree and am a certified teacher experienced with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504). My approach is rooted in building strong relationships, using research-based strategies, and encouraging deep thinking so students gain skills and confidence. I adapt my teaching by actively listening and using diverse methods like visual aids and hands-on activities. I keep students motivated by connecting topics to their interests, celebrating successes, and breaking down challenges. Open communication is key; I believe in keeping students and parents informed and involved. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I am available to tutor at various locations and can assist with Math, English, Science, Test Preparation, Special Education, and Study Skills for elementary and middle school students.
