I believe good tutoring is less about knowing all the answers and more about figuring out how to help someone find them. Sometimes a concept needs to be explained differently, connected to something familiar, or approached from another angle. Sometimes the real challenge is simply getting your brain to cooperate. I know that firsthand. I struggled with reading and attention growing up, despite being a strong student. I eventually learned how to recognize when I was stuck and find strategies that worked for me. That experience has made me patient, adaptable, and genuinely interested in how other people learn. I'm naturally strong in math, majored in history and ancient language in college, have operated retail businesses, and I'm a certified personal trainer and knowledgeable about exercise science, human biology and anatomy, and nutrition. I learn quickly, enjoy figuring things out, and can find creative ways to build understanding and confidence in any subject matter.
