With two years of experience and graduate-level studies, I focus on building confidence and fostering a love for learning, rather than just memorization. My approach involves varying teaching strategies - visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. I encourage open communication and value regular parental check-ins. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to real-world examples, celebrating small successes, and breaking down complex problems. Communication is key, and I strive to build trust through regular updates. One of my most rewarding experiences was teaching a senior citizen phonics, and witnessing her progress. I have a BS in computer science and a BS in electronic engineering. I am CPR trained and have First Aid certification.
