About Dana

Hi, I'm Kate! After earning my degree in philosophy and education from the University of Notre Dame, I spent two years teaching full-time and tutoring students with varying learning differences. Since moving from Houston to Eugene, I'm excited to continue my work in education, focusing on cultivating an authentic love of learning in each student. As a state-certified PSW through the Department of Disability Services, I'm skilled at supporting students with unique learning needs. I tutor all levels of math and literacy from early-education through university. -I work with students' curriculum, supplementing with additional resources to reinforce their learning. -I create engaging lessons to make learning enjoyable and interactive. -I turn problem-solving into an exciting opportunity to spark curiosity and build confidence. -I communicate regularly with parents to track progress and celebrate growth. My rate is $50 per hour-I'm happy to discuss a rate that works best for you!
