Hello, I have been in the healthcare field, caring for men and women for many years in assisted living facilities and private home care however, providing personalized care in the home is truly what is best. People thrive in their own home under knowledgeable, loving care as I experienced most recently as a caregiver/administrator for a husband and his wife who had late stage Alzheimer's for 6yrs. At age 95, I was able to; with healthy home-cooked diet, clean home environment, physical therapy and positive activities in and out of the home, provide her with many happy, healthy years living to almost 102yo. I stayed on to continue caring for her husband. I would like to provide the same care and comfort to others. I have experienced hands on care with Alzheimer's/Dementia/Parkinson, COPD/lung disorders, Heart and Kidney disease, Bladder/urinary incontinence, Physical Therapy, Diabetes/Neuropathy, Prostate Cancer, Hearing & Sight loss, Mobility, End of life care, to name just a few.

For over 5 years Jodi cared for my mother until mom died with severe dementia at the age of 101. Jodi is an exceptional caregiver and if you have the opportunity to employ her, sign her up immediately! My mother loved Jodi and smiled happily when she saw her arrive. Jodi treated my mother with the heartfelt care of a daughter. Truly there are too many skills that Jodi brings to detail here. Briefly, she is a hard and diligent worker with knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, medications, and general health care. She has extensive nutritional knowledge and prepared meals for my mother and her husband that were both nutritious and designed to address the conditions that affected their health. Both quickly had improved blood work and were taken off of many medications. She worked weekdays and coordinated the weekend and night caregivers so there was consistency in the care.
