About Jocelyn

Hello my name is Jocelyn! I'm 18 years old, live in burnsville Minnesota, and have been babysitting for a few years. I want to make sure that kids can feel comfortable to be curious and to express themselves/regulate in whatever way feels best to them. I'm definitely an empath which is what has led me to successfully connect with families & the needs of the child that is entrusted in my care. In my spare time, I like to read books & manga. analyze television shows, taking naps with my cat, and obsessing over kpop. One thing you should know about me is I have a lot of experience in mental health & some knowledge that others may not. I think that it has had an impact on the way that I can tune into people's needs. My skills include being firm with a gentle approach, being patient & allowing children space to attempt to do things for themselves such as pouring a cup of milk, & being able to handle distressing emotions a child might have.
