About Jocelyn

I'd describe my personality as determined, friendly, and humorous. I like tutoring because I find fulfillment in teaching the future generation. The school system is not individualized for students that may need extra help, providing that help builds a strong foundation for the future of learning! I'm looking for a job that gives me the opportunity to teach others while building my professional and teaching skills. I started tutoring in my second year of my undergraduate. I did a bit of math tutoring as the president of Mu Alpha Theta (math honors society) in high school as well! In my spare time, I like to be active, play sports, watch new movies in theaters, and indulge in creative activities! One thing you should know about me is I greatly enjoy building a relationship with my students. I believe it's very important to create a judgement-free learning environment where students are okay with making mistakes. My skills include algebra, reading, and SAT preparation.
