About Jessica

I have been in the nanny/childcare profession for approximately 20 years. I have worked as both a nanny/babysitter and a childcare provider at a daycare center. While in the daycare center, I primarily worked with infants and toddlers (ages 6 weeks to 2 1/2 years). Most of my experience there was with the infants (head teacher for about a year, and assistant teacher prior to that). As a nanny, I've worked with children from the ages of 3 months to 6 years (including two sets of infant twins). The family I was with the longest was one with two boys, ages 3 and 6. I was with them for three years. I am very passionate about what I do because of the bond I develop with the families that I work for. It's great to know that people can trust and depend on you in the upbringing of their children. When the children are comfortable and love seeing you when you walk in the door in the morning, that is very rewarding. I would never want to give up that feeling.
