About Rachel

Hey there! My name is Rachel, an Artistic Educator passionate about guiding young minds through the benefits of theater and art. I do so through social awareness, imagination building, and just plain fun! I've worked in childcare starting at 12, nannying for three families in the Chicago area: a 7-month-old till he went off to daycare at 15 months, a family of three ages 6 months, 3, and 6, and an 18-month-old who I met at 8 months. I've nannied for a lovely Rittenhouse Square family and finished after landing a full time position, now transitioning back to part time work in the arts. An overnight babysitter to a summer nanny, assisted parents on trips, a camp counselor for ages 3-13 for 3 summers, and worked in a church nursery for two years with ages 4 months-5 years. I've taught children's theater programs with ages 2-18, and working in programming development for ages Pre-K through 15 years old. I received my BA in Theater Education at Emerson College.
