I am a nonprofit professional in my late 20s looking for some extra work. I love to teach, and hope to end up back in the classroom some day. I was a National Merit Scholar and a 1st grade teacher with Teach for America in DC. I taught Microeconomics quiz sections at a UW graduate school and tutored Russian language and literature students at Pomona College (my Alma mater). In the past decade I have tutored students ages 8-30 in a variety of subjects including geometry, algebra, calculus, basic math, biology, English, history, SAT prep, and AP test prep (I took 4 APs in high school and received 4/5 on all of the tests). I love kids and teaching and would love to help your child succeed in his or her studies. I believe I make learning fun (or at least as painless as possible).
