About Jessica

For the past 10 years, I've been helping students unlock their potential. I hold a graduate degree and am a certified teacher, experienced with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504). I adapt my teaching to each student's unique learning style through active listening, varied strategies, and open communication. My approach focuses on building confidence and fostering a love for learning, empowering students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to their interests, celebrating successes, and breaking down complex problems. Communication is essential, so I prioritize open dialogue with students and parents to ensure optimal outcomes. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of tutoring.
