About Jennifer

I enjoy being a positive guide/role model and have over 15 years of experience mentoring at-risk youth, in schools (Montessori, public, bilingual preschool), and in homes. I speak some Spanish and have a background in social work, hospice care, EMT, child/family mentoring, and mind/body/spirit connection. I am a Certified Peer Specialist and worked for 2 years at Region 10's Crisis Stabilization Unit. My interests include writing, reading, art, nature, science, psychology, spirituality, and holistic health/healing.. My working model is strength-based, person-centered, and trauma-informed and I value honesty, integrity, and good humor and communication. I continuously strive for authentic, compassionate, and supportive human-to-human connection with those I work with.
