About Jennifer

Hello! I'm Jennifer and I've been a teacher for the last 4 years! Aside from teaching, I've tutored students of different ages in English and Math! I'm always exploring different teaching strategies from a traditional setting to a more flexible and hands on approach. I'd describe my personality as patient, creative, and innovative. I like tutoring because I find helping others with their confidence is rewarding! I'm looking for a job that allows me to have a flexible schedule and continue my love for teaching! In my spare time, I like to explore the world around me! Sometimes, I'll learn different types of art, research new topics, discover new places to visit, or just spend time with my pets! My skills include identifying learning gaps and providing personalized instruction that helps students understand challenging concepts in reading and math. My strength is building students' confidence and independence while using assessment data to support meaningful academic growth.
