As the eldest of 5, it was my responsibility to help manage and maintain the household. Tasks included driving siblings, siblings' friends, and on occasion, grandparents to various appointments and activities; running general errands; grocery shopping; preparing and cooking meals; usual cleaning and upkeep; taking care of the animals (dogs, cats, and other animals on the family property); and anything else my family needed assistance with. My family also owns and operates various nursing homes or RCFE's and I would assist with meals, medication reminders, transportation, and companionship (especially when someone was sitting outside or would play the piano!). I come from a large family as well, so I have some experience with putting together parties and events. I consider myself a "Jen-of-all-trades" and if there's something you need assistance with, I may be able to help!
