Hello, I'm Jay! I have been caring for children through care. com for about 8 years, ranging from 3 months old to 12 years old. I have experience with infants, toddlers, toddler multiples, and large groups of various ages. As a classical musician and nature lover, I enjoy introducing children to music, playing outside, and most any craft project. I think it's important to spend quality time with the children I'm watching, while also allowing them time to think for themselves. I think it's important to have communication with parents about a typical schedule throughout the day, so the little ones are always getting what they need and bedtime goes smoothly for everyone. Outside of this, I do nature videography online! Meaning, my schedule is extremely flexible. I'm looking for around 3-4 days each week, but can be very, very accommodating to hours being extended if extra help is needed! If we sound like a good match, feel free to reach out!

Jenna (Jay) is a lovely person and a responsible, kind caregiver! Jenna (Jay) was our nanny from the time our child was 4 months through 11 months old. We really valued her reliability and her warm, sweet presence in interacting with our baby. She was never once late - a huge relief for two busy parents! - and was available anytime we asked for weekend babysitting in addition to our 4 regular weekdays. Jenna (Jay) loves children and brought a calm, genuine, down-to-earth energy to our home. We always felt completely safe having our baby in her care. She also knows a lot about animals and was able to care for our dogs when we were out of town. Jenna (Jay) gave us peace of mind during a hectic period of time as new parents and we appreciate her so much!
